Jesus
The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb 
of God!” When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus.
John 1:35-37
John the Baptist knew something very important about discipleship. John knew that his job was to point people to Jesus.
Discipleship is about us pointing others to Jesus. Our job is not to convince people how to live their lives. Our job is not to make people think the same way we do. Our job is to point people to Jesus and allow Jesus to work out the stuff in their lives.
