GH download: the finale

For a little over a year Liz and I have had the privilege of working with, serving and doing life with our Greenhills congregation here in the Philippines.

As our ministry shifts into a new season this will be the last installment of my blog series entitled “Greenhills download.” Each week I would list down my thoughts and observations from our church.

Here are my final thoughts:
-really gonna miss the folks at greenhills.
-Dennis is seriously one of my favorite preachers and leaders.
-gotta love dennis’ heart and humility
-love dennis’ approach to ministry.
-thammie is a great compliment to this man.
-the sy’s have the cutest girls in the world
-loved watching larry grow and develop into a great pastor.
-really gonna miss yet, gelo and monte
-had a great time talking to monte about WWF wrestling last night.
-Chinkee brings a ton of maturity, experience, and wisdom to the table. Note: his message this past week was on point.
-loved getting to know nove and the kids.
-learned so much from the tans
-April has my vote for most valuable “staff” volunteer
-Loved talking to and hanging out with kc
-love bojo’s transitions “the passion engineer”
-loved seeing alden always around the staff
-if I missed you it doesnt mean i dont love you
-Jonas is a fantastic worship leader
-love the fact that sheryn does what it takes to get stuff done
-loved spending time with these folk’s families. We serious learned a lot
-these folks are some of the most generous people I know. They give time, talent and treasure with no second thought.
-love all the leaders who I got to interact with
-nothing but love for the great additions from New Manila.
-love the big screen at music museum
-props to the staff for solving the parking problem at GH.
-watching the church go from 400-1200 is definitely an experience that I will never forget. I wonder if this can happen in Hawaii????
-gonna miss eating Chinese food with the Chinese folks
-love the sound quality in music museum
-really admire these guys for their commitment to prioritize and value their families
-really gonna miss these folks
-love the creativity on this team
-preservice production meeting is definitely a good thing
-service in a theatre is pretty cool.
-lights can add a lot to a venue
-can life get better than playing basketball in the middle of staff meeting
-did i mention i will really miss these folks
